Missiondeep: Yeah, come to think of it, it was. Both the Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp versions were less freaky than the book. I kind of forgot about the Johnny Depp version...
*looks around nervously* Response comment... Not exactly on topic... I'm sorry... That'll be all.

Yeah this doesn't feel as dark as I thought it could be. But I had the same problem with Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. The books were dark and scary as crap. Seem like Burton is more into just creepy stuff lately. But I have high hopes none the less.

I don't know. I ain't too pumped about this movie here. I was, I really, really was. But it seems too silly to me. I know, it's Alice in Wonderland, how much more silly can you get? But I wanted a creepy, disturbing Alice. Not American McGee, GOD no, but something less... Disney.
Also, how long has Disney been tacked onto this project? I never knew they were, and I'm heartily disappointed in Burton for letting them tag along and tone his movie down. Oh well, I'm still going to see it, no matter what, so why complain?

Disney doesn't do well with their stereoscopic cinematography, so I'm worried about Alice in Wonderland in 3D. I may avoid that and see it in 2D only.

There are important rules to follow when filming in 3D and they blatantly disregard them again & again. About the only studio that does 3D well is Pixar.
